As an early LinkedIn enthusiast back in 2003, I recognised its potential for revolutionising lead generation. During the telesales era, I often felt the frustration of cold calling, and LinkedIn emerged as a promising solution. Surprisingly, a more senior colleague at the time doubted LinkedIn's future, but by 2008, during the Global Financial Crisis (GFC), it proved its worth beyond lead generation, becoming a vital tool for recruitment.


Hi there, I'm Rachel Hatfield. My career spans sales and marketing in the hotel and events sector, working with global hotel companies like Accor, IHG, and Marriott.
