 In March 2014 a basic idea was conceived of photographing all the businesses on the Grove in Ilkley. A single line was written in a Word document and there is stayed:

‘Photograph all the shop owners on the Grove in Ilkley and then go to exhibition in the local church exhibition hall.’

Over the following year along with Photgrapher Alan Carmichael from Capricorn photography SHOO supported the project of photographing all the local businesses on The Grove and beyond. The project ended with an exhibition of all the photos as part of Ilkley Arts trail. 

DIGITAL U

Founded in 2018, Digital U is a digital conference that educates and allows people to get the most out of their business digitally. Digital U is hosted and coordinated by SHOO, Co-founders, Rachel Hatfield and Chris Morris enlist their finest digital counterparts to bring Digital U to life. 

The event first took place in Leeds in 2018, hosting 100+ delegates at Aspire in Leeds. In 2019 the event moved to Denton Hall in ilkley with more speakers hosting workshops over the full day conference.

In 2020 Digital U went online, hosting 18 webinars in a week alongside networking, quiz’s and panel talks.
